Police are searching for a suspect in a groping incident at a Queens library earlier this week.

Police said a man appearing to be in his early to mid-40s approached a 15-year-old girl inside the Queens Public Library in Astoria at about 6 p.m. Monday. He groped the girl and exposed himself, then fled.

The girl was not hurt.

The suspect was last seen wearing a tan jacket, gray hat, black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
