A 5-year-old girl died after an SUV hit her as she ran across the street in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, police say.
Police say Kiko Shao was hit shortly before 3:30 p.m. by a man driving a 2002 Cadillac Escalade as she crossed 55th Street near Fifth Avenue in Sunset Park.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene. No charges have been filed.
