NJ Seniors Rally for Giants

They even made a rap video.

A group of raucous Giants fans at a New Jersey retirement community is rallying for Big Blue this weekend, and have even created a rap video to root for their team.

The video by the senior citizens at Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains is already on YouTube, and while it may not have gone viral just yet, it certainly shows just how fanatic these fans have become.

It's sung to the Giants victory song "We Are Champs."

Cedar Crest resident Rob Evans, admittedly no fan of rap music, emceed a pep rally Wednesday that included pom poms and dozens of seniors dressed in the jerseys of some of their favorite modern-day Giants stars.

Many though, have a preference for the old days of the run game over today's pass-happy NFL.

"I like the old rugged style with just the people banging each other," said George Freeman.

Predictions, of course, by most were that the Giants will win.

But Lyn Evans, wearing a sweatshirt that read "World's Greatest Giants Fan" said "even if they don't, I still love them because I never thought they'd get this far."
