George Washington Bridge Bus Station Closing For Work

Commuters who ride buses to and from the George Washington Bridge Bus Station in New York will need to make some adjustments.

The station is being closed for renovations beginning Monday.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the building will stay closed for about a year.

Buses will continue to operate, though loading and unloading platforms will be moved.

Ticket sales, restrooms and a waiting area will be available at a trailer nearby.

The closure is part of a $183 million renovation project.
