Gas Main Breaks at 2nd Ave Construction Site

Crews are responding to the site of a gas main break at a construction site in Manhattan, the FDNY said.

The break was reported at 967 Second Avenue just after 11:30 a.m. Monday.

According to Department of Building records, the building was scheduled to be demolished last month.

The leak had not been capped as of 12:15 p.m.

No evacuations have been reported.
