A pedestrian has died after being hit by a tractor trailer in the Tremont section of the Bronx Thursday.
The truck hit the victim at the intersection of Webster Avenue and East 174th Street at about 8:30 p.m., according to the FDNY.
The pedestrian, 20-year-old Kenny Valette, was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Officers said the tractor trailer was exiting the eastbound Cross Bronx Expressway ramp of Webster Avenue and made a right turn onto Webster Avenue when it struck the man.
The truck driver remained on the scene and no charges have been filed.
