Police in New Jersey have made an arrest in the shooting death of a grocery store owner Saturday.

Police say Coleman shot and killed Eduardo Leaty, the 47-year-old owner of the Leaty Grocery Store in Plainfield.

Coleman has also been charged with the attempted murder of an employee who was with Leaty inside the store.

Police told the Star-Ledger newspaper Coleman was a confirmed member of a street gang in the city.

Leaty was a U.S. Army veteran and leaves behind a wife and two daughters, the Star-Ledger reports.
