Four New Jersey Towns Named Among 100 Best Places to Live in America in New Report

Four of the 100 best places to live in America are in New Jersey, according to a new report from Money Magazine.

The annual ranking of 100 communities around the country is determined by 7 factors: economy, cost of living, education, housing, crime, amenities and ease of living.

The greatest weight was placed on economy, cost of living and public school performance, according to Money Magazine.

The magazine only included places with populations between 10,000 and 100,000. It also eliminated places with more than double the national crime risk, less than 85 percent of its state’s median household income and a lack of ethnic diversity.

No more than four places per state and two per county were included on the list.
