Flatbush Residents Rally for Arrest of Serial Rapist

Community leaders and concerned residents will rally today at the corner of two busy streets in Brooklyn, where a serial rapist has targeted three women.

All three incidents occurred near the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Bedford Avenue in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, police said.

A rally Monday organized by the Urban Community Council seeks to raise awareness of the matter and calls for greater efforts to apprehend the suspect, wanted for three sexual assaults

The first attack took place back on April 13, when the man sexually assaulted a woman after following her back to her apartment, police said.

He struck again in May and most recently on Friday, Dec. 10.  In both cases, he forced his way into his victims' apartments and raped them.

All of the attacks took place between 10:30 p.m. and 2 a.m, police said.
