Fire Rips Through New Jersey Home

A fire ripped through a home in New Jersey on Monday morning, authorities said.

The flames were first reported at about 6 a.m. at the multi-level home on West 26th Street near John F. Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne, fire officials said.

The flames appeared to be under control soon after fire crews responded, but then flared up and shot through the roof of the home, video of the fire shows.

Smoke could still be seen rising from the charred home at about 7 a.m., Chopper 4 video shows.

No injuries were immediately reported in the fire, officials said.
