No one was hurt in a fire that broke out at a residential high-rise building on Central Park West Thursday morning, officials say.
Officials say they got a call about the fourth-floor blaze at the building shortly before 10 a.m.; it was under control within about half an hour.
According to StreetEasy, the pre-war building has 17 stories and about 90 apartments. It was built in 1925. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters also battled a blaze at a Bronx high-rise Thursday morning. No one was injured in the fire, which broke out shortly after 8 a.m. on the 10th floor of the building on 156th Street, officials said. It was under control within an hour.
