Thick black smoke spewed into the air as flames engulfed an Access-a-Ride bus in Queens Thursday.
The FDNY said it got a call about the bus fire on Queens Boulevard in Rego Park shortly after 12 p.m. No one was injured, and the cause of the fire wasn't known.
Video posted to Instagram showed bystanders pause in the media to watch the situation unfold.
Photos showed the bus entire engulfed by leaping orange flames that broke out the windows and the windshield.
