Body Found in Attic of Brooklyn Home After Fire: Officials

A body was found in the attic of a Brooklyn home where a fire was reported and extinguished on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The FDNY got the call about a blaze at 2281 Ocean Parkway shortly after 3 p.m., officials said.  The fire was brought under control an hour later. 

A body was found in the attic during the search of the Gravesend home, authorities said.  The circumstances of how the person died and how the fire started are under investigation, officials said.
