FedEx took a turn playing cupid today, making special Sunday deliveries for Valentines all around the city.
For just this Sunday, FedEx, in cooperation with ProFlowers, put boxes, treats and bouquets into the hands of romantics all around the city.
Kenny Troy, a FedEx senior manager said "I"ve been here 23 years. This is the first time we're open on Sunday." He said they had "a lot of volunteers" for the special shift.
Milimo Botie, who got a special Valentine's Day package, said it was "amazing. I feel loved."
At this point, FedEx doesn’t know exactly how many packages it will deliver. All the company can say is that millions of pounds of candies, chocolates, flowers, and gifts will be delivered today.
Helen Miglietta, who also was someone's Valentine, said it was "the most wonderful Valentine's I've had in years. Hope everybody has love in their life today."
