Man Busted for 150 Fake 911 Calls Using Neighbor's Address

Although they're glad the ordeal is over, the victims say they're still thinking of moving.

A Manhattan family is expressing relief after the arrest of a neighbor accused of making more than 150 fake 911 calls using their address.

The calls went on for nearly two years. Many were in the middle of the night. The claims included fake fires and gunshots.

In recent months, emergency responders had sometimes gone to the home twice a day.

Victim Mamadou Sy tells the Daily News that it shouldn't happen to anyone.

Fire marshals charged 30-year old Jesus Leon Jr. with numerous counts of falsely reporting an incident and reckless endangerment.

His mother says the suspect has medical issues and was frustrated by a leak he blamed on the upstairs neighbors.

Although they're glad the ordeal is over, the victims say they're still thinking of moving.
