FBI Helps Identify “Holiday Bandit”

The “Holiday Bandit's” run as an anonymous bank robber is over.

With assistance from the FBI-NYPD's Joint Bank Robbery Task Force, police have identified the man who allegedly robbed 3 banks across New York City as Marat G. Mikhaylich.  He's believed to be responsible for December heists at a Sovereign Bank at 37-10 Broadway in Astoria,  Ridgewood Savings Bank on 8522 Third Ave. In Brooklyn, and a Sovereign Bank at  24-29 Jackson Avenue in Queens.

Mikhaylich wieighs 210 pounds, is between 6'3" to 6'5" tall, and was last seen wearing a  black hat, black ear muffs, dark sunglasses, a black winter jacket, and dark blue jeans. He's also been seen with a black handgun.

Anyone who sees Mikhaylich is asked to call the FBI or local police.
