Ex-NYC Mayoral Aide's Son Pleads Not Guilty in Stabbing

The son of a former aide to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's wife has pleaded not guilty in the fatal stabbing of a teenager in New Jersey.

Khari Noerdlinger entered the pleas Monday. He's charged with aggravated manslaughter, weapon possession and hindering apprehension in the death of 16-year-old Savion Lewallen.

A judge also tightened bail restrictions on the 19-year-old Edgewater man because he tested positive for cocaine last month.

Authorities have said Lewallen went to Edgewater on Jan. 31 with four accomplices in an apparent bid to rob Noerdlinger. Lewallen was killed during the confrontation.

Lewallen's four alleged accomplices have been charged with armed robbery.

Noerdlinger's mother, Rachel Noerdlinger, resigned in 2014 after a string of damaging disclosures about her personal life, including Khari's arrest on trespassing charges.
