A woman died in a New Jersey house fire Sunday, officials said.
First responders called to the scene of the fire on Fells Road in Essex Fells discovered the woman in the house and administered first aid, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. She was declared dead at a hospital shortly after 4 a.m.
The arson task force at the prosecutor's office is investigating. The cause of the fire and the cause of death have yet to be determined.
