Don't think that only those with deep pockets can enjoy New Year's Eve. There are plenty of options around town for folks on all types of budgets.

Champagne isn't the only way to ring in the new year in memorable fashion.

Though a spot in Times Square won't cost you a dime, try finding an affordable dinner or drink in the neighborhood Wednesday night.

If you look closely, however, there are some good deals to be had.

Mantra 986 is offering a two-hour open bar and champagne toast for $40 a head.

Event planner Erica Maurer told WNBC that you can find great bargains after that crystal ball drops on the center of the universe.

"You can enjoy same thing at half the price," she said.

Cipriani has a $65 pricetag on drinks and dancing from 12:30 a.m. until 3 a.m.

Free music and fireworks can be had at Central Park until the midnight run.

Free fireworks are also on the schedule at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn's Prospect Park.

Bryant Park offers free ice skating until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
