Police are looking for a man who punched an elderly woman in the head as she walked on a Brooklyn street Friday morning, then ran off, police said.
The 76-year-old victim was walking along Wortman Avenue in East New York when a man approached her from behind and hit her, police say. The suspect then ran away.
The woman was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where she was treated for her injury and released.
Police say nothing was stolen from the victim.
