Police in Connecticut are looking for a man who punched an elderly woman in the face in a mall parking lot, then ran off with her purse.
The 85-year-old woman from Stamford has parked her car in the Town Center Mall parking lot and was walking to the mall entrance when the man assaulted her Friday morning, police say. The victim was knocked to the ground and hit her face on concrete.
The man then grabbed the woman's purse and ran away.
The victim was taken to Stamford Hospital, where she was treated for a broken nose.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
