An elderly woman has died after being hit by a car in Brooklyn.
Police say on March 25, the 84-year-old woman was crossing Louisiana Avenue just north of Vandalia Avenue in East New York when she was hit by a 2000 Chevy Malibu that was traveling south on Louisiana Avenue.
The unidentified woman sustained trauma to the head and she was taken to Brookdale Hospital where she died on Thursday.
There were no arrests and the NYPD is investigating the crash.
