Man Arrested for Shooting Elderly Woman, 2 Teens in the Bronx: NYPD

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for shooting two teenagers and an elderly woman in the Bronx Tuesday afternoon, police say.

Police say Christopher Lopez shot one teen in the leg and another in the arm in the area of White Plains Road and Morris Park Avenue. Lopez also shot an elderly in the arm, authorities said.

Lopez was arrested Friday morning and charged with attempted murder, felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to officials.

All three of the shooting victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center and were in stable condition. 

Information on a lawyer for Lopez was not immediately available.
