Man Has Broken Wrist After Violent Brooklyn Robbery

Police are searching for two suspects in a violent robbery in Brooklyn that left a 55-year-old man with a broken wrist.

Police said man was walking on Van Siclen Avenue in East New York at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday when he was approached from behind by two men. 

One of the suspects hit the victim in the head, causing him to fall the ground, and began taking property from him, police said. The other suspect kicked the victim while he was on the ground.

The pair then fled with the man's cell phone. 

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was treated for a cut to his head and a broken wrist. 

One of the suspects, captured on surveillance video, is described as about 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds.
