Early Morning Blaze Engulfs Home on Long Island; No Injuries

Multiple fire departments responded to a fire that engulfed a house on Long Island Wednesday morning, officials said.

A call came in shortly after 1 a.m. regarding the fire inside a residential building in Brentwood, fire crews said. Five departments helped with putting the fire out.

It took firefighters about an hour and half to put the blaze out. No one was hurt, authorities say. 

Red Cross responded to the scene.

Video shows by firefighters dousing the fire at 37 Bushwick Ave., as heavy flames spews out of the windows while thick smokes rises into the air.
