The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the shooting of the white domestic duck.
 
The male duck was found in Patchogue, wounded, and taken to an animal clinic for treatment.
 
Veterinarians say the arrow punctured the esophagus, but the duck is expected to recover.
