DUI NYer in Eli Manning Shirt Leads Cops on 7-Mile Chase: Police

Police charged Emily Hindman of Mount Sinai with driving while impaired, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful fleeing.

Police say a New Yorker high on drugs was captured after a 7-mile chase in a van with "Let's Go Giants'' painted on its back window.

Police charged Emily Hindman of Mount Sinai with driving while impaired, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful fleeing.

They say she also was wearing an Eli Manning sweatshirt when she was arrested.

The chase began at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in Medford when police tried to pull her over for driving erratically, reports Newsday.

It continued through Gordon Heights and Coram.

Police say she kept driving even after getting two flats from the tire-deflating devices they dropped.

They say Hindman also rammed into a patrol car that pulled in front of her in Coram.
