Authorities on Long Island are searching for a man accused of trying to lure a teenager into his truck Tuesday.
A man in a white truck tried to lure the 15-year-old high school student on School Street in Glen Cove, police say.
The driver, described as being in his 60s, first offered the teen a ride, and when she refused, he twice offered her money to get inside the Nissan Frontier.
The teen again refused and ran home and told her parents what happened.
Glen Cove police used its network of 50 surveillance cameras around the city to capture images of the truck and are now asking for the public's help locating the driver.
Police have no previous reports of attempted luring involving the truck.
