A driver crashed through the storefront of a New Jersey futon business when he passed out while driving in Fairfield, police say.

No one was hurt in the crash.

The 61-year-old driver from Wayne was traveling on Route 46 East when he suffered a medical condition that caused him to pass out behind the wheel at around 5 p.m., according to police.

His 2006 Ford Taurus left the highway, struck a parked car in the lot of 420 Route 46 East, then crashed through the window of Futon World.

The driver was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson to be treated for his medical condition. He's not expected to face a summons, but police say they're alerting the New Jersey DMV so his driver's license can be reevaluated.
