Bystander Hurt in Drive-By Shooting on Busy Block

A 60-year-old apparent bystander was injured during a drive-by shooting in Harlem Wednesday morning, police said.

Police say a gunman in a black sedan opened fire on a group of people near 141st Street and Lenox Avenue just before 10 a.m.

The man shot in the shoulder was not believed to be part of the group, police said. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

The gunman fled southbound on Lenox Avenue.
