NBC New York

A Delta flight successfully landed at Kennedy Airport, despite a shredded tire

Emergency crews at Kennedy Airport met a Delta flight coming in from France Wednesday afternoon.

Delta Flight 185 apparently blew a tire when it took off from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The blown tire became shredded as the plane taxied on the tarmac.

The plane landed successfully at Kennedy Airport in the 4 p.m. hour, with no major issues.

Two hundred passengers and 11 crew members were on board.
