Police are searching for three teens who allegedly robbed and assaulted a deliveryman just as he finished dropping off food inside a Brooklyn apartment building.
The 43-year-old deliveryman had just finished delivering food inside 755 Fenimore St. in East Flatbush at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, and was getting out of the elevator into the lobby when the suspects approached him, police said.
One of the suspects grabbed the deliveryman by the neck and dragged him to the floor, and the other two joined in as they punched and kicked him repeatedly, according to police.
The three took about $100 and a cellphone from the victim before running away, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries to the head and face.
The suspects are believed to be about 16 to 18 years old. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
