Jurors have begun deliberating at the racketeering trial of mob heir John "Junior" Gotti.

Prosecutors say the son of the late Gambino crime family boss was involved in murder and mayhem spanning decades. He denies the charges, claiming he quit the mob more than a decade ago.

It's the fourth time Manhattan prosecutors have sought a conviction against the 45-year-old Gotti.

Three previous trials ended in hung juries.

If convicted, Gotti faces life in prison.

His father died in prison in 2002.
