Man Accused of Dumping Dead Person on New Jersey Street, Stealing Car

A 40-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stealing a dead man's car and dumping the man's body on a New Jersey street Friday, authorities say.

Authorities responding to a 911 call on Chamberlain Avenue in Paterson Friday found 65-year-old Ali Achmetov, of Newark, lying there dead. The investigation indicated he hadn't died there, and detectives later determined his own vehicle, a Gray Pontiac Wagon, was used to dump the body at the scene.

Paterson police saw the vehicle two days later, on Sunday, near Broadway and Straight streets and pulled it over. Michael Rzucidlo, of Clifton, was one of two people in the vehicle at the time and police allege he was the one who dumped Achmetov's body and then made off with the car.

Rzucidlo faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and unlawful disposal of human remains. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Authorities say Achmetov died of natural causes.
