A baby girl died after she rolled off the bed her mother put her on, officials say.
Six-month-old Josephina Kalekhman of Queens was found unconscious inside her Forest Hills home round 11 p.m. Thursday, according to the NYPD.
Police said her mother put her on the bed, when her attention was called elsewhere. Baby Josephina then rolled off the bed into an area between the bed, wall and crib.
She was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
A medical examiner will determine Josephina’s cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
