Dad: Son Accused in Naked Stabbing Spree Was Loner

The father of a man accused in a fatal stabbing spree at his Manhattan apartment building says his son was a loner who felt New Yorkers weren't nice people.

Armando Cables, of Florida, told the New York Post that his son, Christian Falero, was desperate to get out of the city.

Falero has been charged with second-degree murder. He's accused of killing two people and injuring three others.

Police say he rampaged naked through the building Tuesday, randomly knocking on tenants' doors and stabbing those who answered.

Cables said Falero told him he was feeling depressed because he had no real friends.

He said his son's girlfriend recently left him.

Cables said he was devastated. He called his son's victims beautiful and nice people.
