Roadrunners beware.

Police in Westchester are warning residents to be on the lookout for a coyote who attacked a woman and a dog.

Jill Happel, 56, was walking along the trails in the woods near Old Tarrytown Road and Wyndover Road in Greenburgh was bitten and scratched by the coyote at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.

She was taken to White Plains Hospital Center, where she was in stable condition, officials said.

She was 5 feet away from me before I noticed her and then she was on my leg, sank her fangs in me," Happel said.

"No Dracula movie compares to this. This is way more than Bella Ligosi. She sank her fangs into me."

"I screamed and ran and I was attacked again. She bit my arm. she lunged at me from six feet away. I was terrified."

Later in the day another resident reported his pit bull was also attacked. The dog is alive but no word on how seriously he was hurt.
