Update: Cops Find Possibly Abducted Ocean County Woman

Police have found a Jersey Shore woman who witnesses say was abducted in northern New Jersey.

Three patrol officers from the Paterson Police Department found Anne Donohue sitting on the corner of Market Street and East 32nd Street at about 2 p.m., officials said.

Donohue was recognized by the officers, who had been given her photo prior to ther tour of duty. She was brought to a precinct where she was interviewed by detectives, then taken to St. Joseph's Hospital to be examined.

The woman had been missing for over 24 hours. Witnesses had said they saw Donohue being dragged up railroad tracks by two men wearing black hoodies in Paterson around 11 a.m. Monday. Detective Capt. Heriberto Rodriguez had said the information was "pretty solid."

The Record
newspaper had reported that the 30-year-old Manchester resident was last seen driving a 2001 four-door bronze Chevrolet Impala with New Jersey license plates YTH-30P. But that car was later found at about 9 a.m. Tuesday.
