Cops Nab Three, Find Lots of Pot, in Bus-Stop Brawl Bust

OxyContin pills strewn all over the street; one man stabbed

Authorities arrested three men on drug and assault charges after a Port Authority police officer witnessed a street brawl that left one man stabbed and OxyContin pills strewn all over the street.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokeswoman Jen Friedberg says the officer was on routine patrol Thursday at the George Washington Bridge bus station on 179th Street and Fort Washington Avenue when the officer saw four men fighting after a car crash between their vehicles.

One stabbed man was hospitalized in stable condition. Friedberg says the man was arrested on drug charges after five pounds of marijuana were found in his car.

A father and his 18-year-old son were arrested on charges of assault and criminal possession of a forged instrument. The authority said they were found with 35 counterfeit $100 bills.

Police are searching for the fourth man. No information was immediately available on whether they had lawyers.
