Cops Catch Bronx Man in Connection with Robbery Spree

Police have arrested Tyrone Hunter in connection with last week’s robbery spree on the Upper East Side.

Hunter, of the Bronx, has been charged with robbery and assault after allegedly attacking five women over a 26-hour period. In all of the cases, cops say he confronted the women in their apartment building lobbies or stairwells, and forced them back in their apartments to rob them. None of the victims were injured in the incidents.

Police were able to release surveillance video of Hunter fleeing after the fifth incident. That footage led to his eventual identification and arrest.
