A NYPD officer has been charged with raping a teenage girl after meeting her in a Brooklyn club, police said.
Shawqi Ahmed, 29, met the 18-year-old victim Nov. 26 at a club in Brooklyn, TheNew York Post reported today.
Afterwards, Ahmed and the young woman went back to an apartment where he allegedly raped her. The victim reported the attack a couple of days later, the sources said.
Ahmed joined the department in January 2006 and was assigned to the Transit Bureau, was arrested Friday and arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
