Columbus Day Parade Set to Kick Off on Fifth Avenue

The parade's grand marshal is renowned Wall Street financier and philanthropist Joseph Perella

Italian-Americans will be celebrating their culture and heritage at the 69th Annual Columbus Day Parade in New York City.
 
Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg and mayoral candidates Bill de Blasio and Joe Lhota all plan to march in Monday's parade.

It kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and runs up Fifth Avenue from 47th Street to 72nd Street.
