Christie, speaking on MSNBC's "Morning Joe'' Tuesday, says the former Massachusetts governor is the best option for the GOP.

Christie says if former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is the presidential nominee, people will focus on Gingrich's record and not Obama's.

Christie says he has no regret about deciding not to run for president.
