Workers Tormented Bartender With Dumpling Phalluses They Put Near Crotches and Served to Diners: Lawsuit

Ex-bartender at swanky East Side Chinese restaurant claims she was sexually harassed

A former employee of a swanky East Side Chinese restaurant claims her co-workers groped her repeatedly and tormented her with phallic-shaped dumplings in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed Wednesday in Manhattan.

Yvonne Diaz, who tended bar at Chin Chin between 2007 and October 2011, alleges her co-workers would twist dumplings into phalluses and “put them in their crotch areas” before serving them to customers, according to The New York Post.

The posh eatery caters to the likes of Tyra Banks, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.

Diaz’s lawsuit also claims she was constantly sexually harassed, leered at by co-workers who watched porn movies in the kitchen every Sunday. The woman alleges at least two-coworkers groped her on multiple occasions and one pushed his genitals into her buttocks area.

The harassment was incessant, Diaz says. She claims some of her co-workers walked up to her holding oranges to their chests and said, “Nay Nays; Nay Nays is very good.” That particular abuse happened at least once a month, the lawsuit alleges.

Restaurant owner Jimmy Chin vociferously denied the allegations, calling them “frivolous” and “ridiculous nonsense,” according to the Post.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
