Boyfriend Allegedly Beats Boy, 2, to Death

A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend's 2-year-old son to death over several days.

Police say Kenneth Stahli was charged with second-degree murder after the boy died Tuesday. Authorities responded to a 911 call at the Walnut Park Lane home in Milton around 4 p.m. and found the child unconscious.

Police and paramedics administered CPR, but the boy was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

An autopsy performed two days after the boy died showed he had been killed by blunt force trauma. The medical examiner ruled the child's death a homicide, and the ensuing investigation found the boy had been abused over several days.

Stahli was remanded without bail. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
