3 Accused of Robbing Couple at Gunpoint in Central Park

    Police have arrested three people accused of robbing a couple at gunpoint near the Central Park reservoir.

    The three were charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and stolen property.

    Police say they allegedly used a loaded .380-caliber Beretta semi-automatic to rob the couple as they strolled around the reservoir at 9:40 p.m. Saturday.

    The thieves fled with their wallets and cell phones but were quickly apprehended by plainclothes police.
