5 Boys Charged After Women Mugged, Man Punched in Central Park

Five boys have been arrested and several others are being questioned after two women were mugged and a man was punched in Central Park early Monday, police said.

All five boys, ages 12 to 16, were arrested and charged with two counts each of robbery, police say. The oldest boy, 16, is being charged as an adult. 

The man was approached near 96th Street and Fifth Avenue at around 5 a.m. and was punched by one of the boys, police said.

Shortly after that, two women near the reservoir were robbed for their iPad and iPhone.
