Motorcyclist Killed in Central Park Accident

A motorcyclist was killed after getting into an accident in Central Park, authorities said.

Police said the 68-year-old motorcyclist was going northbound in the park when he crashed into a guardrail near 96th Street. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in traumatic arrest and later pronounced dead. 

The motorcyclist has been identified as Jack Krugman of the Upper East Side.

No other vehicles or pedestrians were involved, according to police.
