Some students at a Fairfield high school have contracted MRSA, an infection caused by a staph bacteria that’s resistant to many antibiotics used to treat ordinary staph infections.
Fairfield Ludlowe High School learned about the first case two weeks ago and two student-athletes have contracted MRSA since then.
School officials said there's no risk for a widespread problem at the school.
