Several people sustained minor injuries when a car backed into a funeral home in Hempstead, Long Island.

A driver crashed into a funeral home on Long Island Monday evening, hurting several people, police said. 

Police say the driver of the SUV lost control and backed into the I J Morris Funeral Home in Hempstead after hitting several other vehicles.

Four people sustained minor injuries and were taken to Nassau University Medical Center and Winthrop University Hospital. 

The driver, who also suffered minor injuries, was being tested for drugs and alcohol, police said.
